I have been part of the IDEC team for 2 years; however, I have worked in the elevator industry for the past 5 years. In my current role as a Purchasing Agent, I need to make sure that the shop has all the materials needed for production. I research potential vendors, compare, evaluate offers from suppliers and negotiate pricing so we can get the best quality and price. I also track orders, so the materials are delivered in a timely manner.
