Frequent exposure to humid salt air, moisture, or direct contact with saltwater or sand can speed up the appearance of rust and corrosion in your elevator. High-traffic elevators in coastal parking garages, hotels, or beachside locations are especially vulnerable.

If your business wants to revamp your elevator’s appearance without fully replacing the cab, IDEC Elevator Products has the solutions you need.

Best Ways to Improve or Replace a Business Elevator Cab

Elevators are part of the guest or resident experience, whether it’s a vacation rental, a restaurant, parking structure, or another type of property. IDEC Elevator Products can update your elevator cab’s appearance by installing modern interior products that resist rust and corrosion. Baseboards and Bumpers for Elevators

Adding baseboards to your elevator cab can help protect the seams where the wall panel meets the floor, especially for properties where people may be entering with sandy or wet feet. Bumpers, similar to a handrail but located near the floor, are another way to protect the wall panels by absorbing contact from bags or equipment riding on the elevator.

Elevator Cab Flooring

If your elevator flooring is rusty or worn, IDEC can replace it with an updated product that will better suit your property’s use and needs. We offer durable flooring options for beachside hotels, restaurants, or parking garages in humid coastal areas.

Rust-Resistant Elevator Cab Panels

At IDEC Elevator Products, we offer over 30 types of cab panels in an array of colors and materials that will match your interior design and protect your elevator from rusting.

Elevator Door Replacement Options

Elevator cab doors often receive the most exposure to salt air, ocean wind, or drastic changes in temperature and humidity. IDEC offers center-opening, single-speed, and two-speed elevator doors in both Brushed Stainless and Muntz Gold.
